Ryerson's I.M.A Gallery is pleased to present 75%, a collection of work produced by third year students in the Image Arts Photography program. The photographs and media presented examine the human condition in relation to image-making and the artistic process. In a world saturated with images the act of representing another becomes charged with culturally encoded signifiers, calling into question issues surrounding memory, gender, interrelationships, objectification and the medium itself. These emerging artists explore modern and historical media but are united by their desire to comprehend and extend the boundaries of representation.

I.M.A. Gallery is a non-profit student and faculty-run gallery, providing an exhibition venue for contemporary, Canadian and international film, new media and photography artists. The Gallery is supported by the Projects Funding Allocation Committee (PFACS), Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts and generous donations form community and individual partners.
